Jokeri Light Rail is operated using high-quality two-direction light-rail cars. The low-floor cars are easy to board, they are air-conditioned, and they have doors on both sides. The cars have 78 seats and 136 places for standing up. The cars are 34.5 metres long and can be extended to 44 metres. The Jokeri Light Rail cars are manufactured at the Otanmäki plant of Transtech in Kainuu. The cars are ordered by HKL, and their total cost will be 95.2 million euros, at the maximum.
